We engage in a range of agricultural practices first and foremost; to inspire learning but also to boost a diet and boost our income.
Generator
The school is located within a UMEME grid, in case of loadshedding, we have a standby generator.
Library
Our Library is well stocked with all relevant materials for our learners’ improvement. These include textbooks, novels, self-help books, newspapers, periodicals among others. The school librarian ensures the library is always accessible to all our learners.
Health
The school nurse always attends to the health issues of our learners. We administer first aid treatment whenever there is need. When the situation warrants, there are two Health Centre III’s in our vicinity where we always seek assistance.
Canteen
To cater for the students' daily needs, we operate a school canteen that is fully stocked with all the necessary articles at very attractive prices.
Meals
At St. John’s, we offer a balanced diet to our learners. Meals served include: high quality posho , matooke, cassava, rice, sweet potatoes, meat, beans, peas, groundnuts, fish, porridge with sugar, milk, bread, various vegetables and a range of fruits.
Laboratories
At St. John’s we also have science and computer laboratories fully stocked to facilitate effective learning. Students always have a chance to do hands-on for those subjects that carry a practical aspect.
