- To assist both young boys and girls hailing from economically disadvantaged families access affordable but quality secondary education,
- To check early pregnancies and marriages amongst the youths due to redundancy and lack of secondary education,
- To inspire morally acceptable behaviors and values through counseling and guidance,
- To improve the quality of the population through the provision of education and skills for self-reliance,
- To re-awaken students’ potentials so they can compete favorably with the rest of their counterparts in Uganda and beyond,
- To instill self-esteem and confidence to the young generation for a brighter future.

Almighty God, the creator of heaven and earth, We praise and glorify your for, Your love and mercy are eternal You are the beginning and the end.
We thank you, O God of eternal love for, The gift of life and all other benefits we receive from you, Giving us a chance to attend school at St. John’s Secondary School Muduuma. We thank God for our parents, guardians, teachers and all other good people who assist us in our studies, all that we have achieved as a community of St. John’s S.S. Muduuma since inception.
We beseech you O God, the most merciful and the most compassionate, grant that, all our sins may be forgiven.
We pray to achieve success in all that we do, and we may be saved from all disruptions that fail us in our struggle to achieve academic success total education.
Grant that, the old students and staff of St. John’s S.S. Muduuma may be blessed in their struggle to succeed. Father we pray for the founders of our school alive and deceased, grant them your blessings.
We ask that in whatever we do, we may do to the best of our ability and emerge victors.
St. John the Baptist our Patron saint, - Intercede for us All holy spirit of God, - Pray for us.
